Keep up New Year Resolutions through February - It’s American Heart Month

February 2, 2016

Here we are in February already. How are your New Year’s resolutions coming along? Perhaps your January 1st enthusiasm has fizzled out a bit. If you’ve stayed on track – good job! If not, you’re not alone. According to research posted recently by StatisticBrain.com, 64% of people who made resolutions maintained them past the first month.  After six months, that number drops down to 46%.

At Nutritional & Behavioral Care, we want to help you keep your health goal! There is no judgment here, just guidance and support. With over 25 years of experience and a 90% success rate, our specialized nutritional programs include weight management, blood sugar control, blood pressure control and cardiac care.

Now that it’s February, let’s work on maintaining health resolutions by focusing on our hearts. Coinciding perfectly with the Valentine’s season, February is American Heart Month. It’s time to remember to love yourself as well as others. Of course, you know by now that a healthy diet and lifestyle is the best way to fight off cardiovascular disease.

Our health professional, Rosalie Schiappacasse, MS, MSW, has counseled over 10,000 clients to help them use their own mental capacity to live a healthier, happier life. We are happy to talk with you to develop an individualized health plan that will keep you happy and healthy all year long.
